http://blog.faboverfifty.com Celebrating Women of Style and Substance Wed, 08 Sep 2010 23:48:57 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.1 hourly 1 http://blog.faboverfifty.com/about/comment-page-1/#comment-3953 peggy failing Fri, 06 Aug 2010 19:14:37 +0000 http://blog.faboverfifty.com/?page_id=7017#comment-3953 I just need somebody to talk to ,I just turned 60 today andspent most of theday at theorthopedic surgeons,as I broke my foot on Wed,after returning to work for 3 whole days from carpal tunnel operation that went wrong as I have permenat damage to my hand and fingers a 24/7 tingling andstiffness and soreness,I had to returnto work as a packer in a warehouse because I was about to be terminated because I was off 12 weeks,while I was doing therpy,to try to get my feeling back.I stopped therpy and returned to work,only to fall on outdoor tairs andbreak my foot and being toldtoday I will beoff from work 6 to 12 weeks,again I was told I would beterminated if not back to work in 15 days.I'm at wits end,as I cover the medical for me and my 62 yr.old husband,who is working in a hardwarestore.We will haveno medical insureance,and I'm scared to death,please I need some advice.I will try to find another job with a lesser pay whenmy foot heals,I have been with this co. for 8yrs.
