Risk ,...." This gives me an idea for an FOF project: Investing & money management discussions/help. I'm not afraid of risk, but I'm not a math or business person and I just don't understand the terminology or concepts of investing. I've tried, believe me. I've even gone to financial advisors for "free introductory meetings" or, worse yet, paid introductory meetings. I've never gone back. They throw around terms I don't understand, and when I ask for some remedial explanations, I don't understand those either and I'm too embarrassed to ask again. So here I am, earning a 6-figure salary and I have a savings account. Period. That's it. I can't figure out the rest of it. I'm not afraid of financial risk, but I'm deadly afraid of mucking around in ignorance. Surely I'm not the only one out there with this problem? “Money. Investing.
